Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you use this website.
The terms that apply when you use this website.
altokoda.com is operated by Altokoda (Pty) Ltd ("Altokoda", "we", "us" or "our"), a private company registered in South Africa.
These terms apply when you use this website. By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Some Altokoda products, such as those on their own website, and any services we provide to clients are governed by their own terms or a separate written agreement. If those terms conflict with these, those terms apply to that product or service.
You may use this website only in line with these terms and the law. You may browse it, share links to it and contact us through it.
When you send us a message through the contact or support form, you confirm that the information is accurate, that it is yours to share, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law.
We use what you send to reply to you and deal with your request, as described in our Privacy Policy. Sending us an idea or suggestion does not create any obligation on us, and we may use it without payment to you.
You may not use this website to break the law or infringe anyone's rights, send spam or misleading messages, or impersonate anyone.
You may not try to gain unauthorised access to the website or our systems, test them for vulnerabilities without our written permission, get around their security measures, or interfere with their operation, for example with malicious code or by overloading them.
You may not copy, reproduce or extract the website's content or design, including our logos, except as allowed by these terms or the law. To report a security issue in good faith, please use our support form.
Automated tools such as crawlers and bots may access the website only as permitted by its robots.txt file. Using them to collect the website's content for training or improving artificial intelligence or machine learning models is not allowed unless robots.txt explicitly permits that tool for that purpose.
This website and its content, including text, graphics, design, code, and the Altokoda, Cloakmark™ and Kodaport™ names and logos, belong to Altokoda (Pty) Ltd or are used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms gives you any right to use them, other than to view the website for your own purposes.
The Overused Grotesk typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License.
The website may link to other websites, including those of our own products. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of websites operated by others, and a link does not mean we endorse them.
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the website at any time. We may also restrict your access if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms.
Content on this website is general information, not professional advice. We work to keep it accurate and current, but to the extent the law allows, the website is provided as it is and as available, without guarantees that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
To the extent the law allows, Altokoda (Pty) Ltd and its directors, employees and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage, or any loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website.
This does not limit liability for gross negligence, fraud or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify Altokoda (Pty) Ltd against any claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website.
You agree that we may communicate with you electronically, for example by email in reply to a form, and that these communications meet any legal requirement for communications to be in writing, in line with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last updated, and continuing to use the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the website. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms; you may not transfer yours without our consent.
Questions about this page can be sent to us through our support form.
